ABOUT US
CHARLIE OSBORNE, LCSW

Hello, my name is Charlie. I work with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress who feel like their patterns are no longer working for them.
Together, we will work on finding the root of these patterns and the variables that have contributed to developing these patterns in the hopes of developing strategies to assist clients with lasting change.
My goal is to be a conduit in a client's process for change.
I have lived in many states throughout my life and worked with various diverse clients.
I have seen individuals in all walks of life experience substantial transformations throughout therapy.
The ability to witness these transformations is why I do what I do in life.
I earned a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's in social work from the University of Southern Mississippi.
I have nearly a decade of clinical experience.
In my career thus far, I have worked in inpatient and outpatient Mental Health treatment facilities. I have also worked in an agency that specializes in working with children who have been sexually/physically abused and adult survivors of sexual/physical abuse.
I have taken so much from each of these steps in my journey as a therapist.
We will begin by getting to know one another during an individual therapy session.
I am a mix of empathy, compassion, and humor, able to be blunt when needed.
I practice a variety of therapeutic modalities, but my foundation is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
What can you expect from me in a therapy session?
I am compassionate, direct, and practical and use evidence-based techniques in sessions. I also enjoy sharing a laugh with a client.
I do not take "a one size fits all" approach to therapy, and I adjust treatment to your specific needs.
I will seek feedback to ensure you get the most out of treatment.
I will help you with distinct techniques and skills to overcome a challenge. We can do that if you need to talk through a situation to make sense of it and glean an outside perspective.
If you are still determining what would be helpful,
I can be directive and assist you. I strive to make therapy as beneficial for you as possible.
If this sounds like a good fit, please call me, and let's chat further.

Chelsey Danielle Smith
MSW-I
I believe that true healing occurs when we feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported on our journey. With both professional expertise and personal experience navigating recovery and mental health challenges, I bring a unique blend of clinical knowledge and lived insight to my practice.
My own journey through recovery has deepened my understanding of the courage required to seek help and the hope that transformation brings. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to clients facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Together, we work to develop practical skills and foster lasting change.
My diverse background informs my holistic approach to therapy. Prior to my clinical work, I gained experience in finance at JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley, where I built strong client relationships. I also studied architecture at Wellesley College and MIT, which enhanced my ability to see structure and design within complex systems. Currently, I work in substance abuse treatment centers, integrating these varied experiences to better understand human needs and resilience.
What sets my practice apart is my integration of the human-animal connection into the healing process. I am pursuing specialized training to become an equine mental health therapist, recognizing the profound healing potential of our connections with horses.
Whether you're navigating recovery, working through trauma, or seeking support for anxiety and depression, I am here to walk alongside you on your path toward healing and growth. Together, we can explore traditional therapeutic approaches alongside innovative methods like equine-assisted therapy to support your journey to wellness.
I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions and am currently accepting new clients. I believe that finding the right therapeutic fit is essential, and I am committed to creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore challenges and discover your strengths.

Tavia Valdez, LCSW
My name is Tavia Valdez, and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience guiding individuals through their healing journeys. I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Weber State University and completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Our Lady of the Lake University.
My professional path began in 2013 at a drug and alcohol treatment center, where I discovered a deep passion for supporting individuals in recovery. In 2019, I transitioned into emergency room social work, providing care management and emotional support to patients and families during moments of crisis and uncertainty.
While my foundation is rooted in substance use treatment, my work has evolved to encompass helping clients reconnect with themselves, process life’s challenges, and become the most authentic and empowered versions of who they are. I believe that healing is about more than managing symptoms — it’s about exploring your story, honoring your experiences, and cultivating inner peace.
My approach is integrative and person-centered. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based, perspective-oriented work. I also incorporate narrative therapy, existential therapy, and grief-based approaches to help clients explore identity, meaning, and the complex emotions that arise from loss—whether related to death, life transitions, or internal shifts. These approaches create a safe space to honor both your past and your path forward.
In addition to my clinical training, I am a certified Reiki practitioner, offering a holistic approach that integrates emotional and energetic healing. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly seen.
At the core of my work is a deep belief that everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. Through empathy, clarity, and genuine connection, I am committed to supporting you in creating a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and authentically your own.

Stephanie Younger-Stuart, CSW
I am highly regarded for my ability to connect with individuals, maintain composure in crisis situations, and foster a positive, accepting environment through my sense of humor and empathetic approach.
My career in social work began in 1995. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from Weber State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Utah State University. My academic background, combined with personal experiences, has fueled my passion for helping others find hope and resilience during difficult times.
Throughout my professional journey, I have gained experience working with children and families affected by addiction, abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. My expertise encompasses child and adolescent therapy, anxiety and depression, trauma, grief and loss, school-based issues, attachment, adoption, and self-esteem.
I have a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents as they navigate and overcome life's obstacles. I believe in the therapeutic power of humor and actively incorporate a lighthearted, compassionate approach to help my clients feel safe and understood. My own commitment to mental health is reflected in my engagement with my family and community.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and spending time in the mountains with my family—free from the distractions of technology. I cherish my roles as a wife, mother, and Nana. I find joy in cooking (especially anything potato-related), exploring new restaurants and food trucks, and sharing family dinners, games, and movies. I believe laughter is some of the best medicine and try to find opportunities for humor while not taking myself too seriously.
My goal is to create a supportive and safe environment where children can heal, grow, and discover their strengths. I view each individual as unique, collaborating closely with clients to develop personalized therapeutic strategies tailored to their needs.
I am inspired by the words of Tori Amos: “Healing takes courage, and we all have courage even if we have to dig a little to find it.”

Ashley Govel
MSW-I
Hello, I'm Ashley Govel. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, medical trauma, and the management of negative emotions related to chronic illnesses such as autoimmune diseases. I believe that true healing begins when we cultivate a sense of internal safety, even amidst overwhelming external stressors.
My approach focuses on guiding clients in developing the tools necessary to regulate their emotions, manage distress, and strengthen their relationships. I incorporate somatic techniques to help clients reconnect with their bodies—an essential step in healing trauma and managing chronic illness. The body’s signals can serve as powerful guides, informing when to set boundaries and advocate for oneself, leading to greater feelings of being seen, heard, and understood. Mindfulness practices are integrated throughout my work to ground clients in the present moment and foster greater self-awareness.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic techniques, and mindfulness practices. I work with both individuals and couples. For couples therapy, I combine an IFS framework with attachment-based psychoeducation and utilize the Gottman Method to support relationship growth and emotional connection.
My goal is to walk alongside you as you rediscover your resilience, reclaim your voice, and create a more balanced, connected life. Whether you’re seeking support for trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, or personal growth, I am here to support your journey with empathy, skill, and respect.
